31-year-old Shilpa Shetty has been included in the list to spice things up or sex up the show for Channel  4 which is likely to be the steamiest so far.

Shilpa has acted in more than 30 Hindi films and her appearance in Celeb Big Brother is bound to be hugely controversial back home

“Bound to be hugely controversial”? I thought everyone was fine with this so far. But, now..I can smell something brewing up. Doesn’t the media at times give pointers to the jobless?

Also, a couple of other lines in the article which testifies what I had to say about Bigg Boss, the Indian counterpart of Big Brother.

According to the Sun, ‘The Dinner Date challenge will see housemates including former Miss Great Britain Danielle Lloyd and Shilpa Shetty pairing with the person they find most attractive. They will be fitted with special heart-rate monitors and must seduce, flirt and do whatever it takes to get their partners’ pulse rates soaring.

So, isn’t this called scripting the show?

When I wrote this post initially on the 4th of Jan, I had expected some trouble to brew here in India about Shilpa’s participation in the show and the fact that she was roped in to make it a steamy show . But, nothing of that sort seems to have happened (atleast, so far) here .. but, the racist remarks which Shilpa has faced in the recent past at Big Brother’s house definitely has reached the UK Parliament.

The other inmates apparently have been making fun of her Indian accent and also are not quite OK with her cooking.

On Monday night’s episode, O’Meara reportedly suggested that Indians were thin because they were always ill as a result of undercooking their food. The trio also complained that Shilpa had touched other housemates’ food with her hands.

Lloyd said: “You don’t know where those hands have been.”

So, is this what they meant by making the show steamier?
